Digital media is a valuable commodity in today’s world. Streaming services and entire businesses revolve around it. While video can be consumed in many ways, many of us have personal files that we want to manage in our content library.
WinX HD Deluxe Video Converter by Digiarty hopes to help solve the problem of local video media.
What does it do?
Maybe you’re a little fuzzy about the need here. Digital media can be tricky. It can also be large in size and take up valuable storage space on your computers. Transcoding is the uncertain component that is often overlooked or misunderstood. Many devices use specific and sometimes proprietary video codecs. Although it may work on your video camera, it may struggle to play on your PC or smart TV.
WinX HD Deluxe helps solve this problem by offering a full range of options. You can transcode to target specific platforms like Apple TV, Roku, Google TV, and all major mobile operating systems. It can also split, merge or reduce the size of videos.
How it works ?
WinX HD Video Converter helps solve these problems by offering a complete and intuitive software package. You can upload your local video and make a multitude of edits. You can also upload a YouTube link and WinX HD will help you create a local file from the video.
From their website, you would be hard pressed to find a video format to input into the WinX HD converter that it cannot handle. All major players like MP4, AVI, MOV and MKV are all supported. Over 200 formats to be exact. Just add the video to your queue and you should be good to go.
How are the results?
Pretty awesome honestly. I haven’t had a problem yet. Everything WinX HD Deluxe claims to do works as advertised. I converted many local files that I had on hand on my home PC.
I also took several short video clips from my Pixel and was able to merge them into one file. It’s a neat feature that I haven’t really thought to use, but it was nice to take several videos I had of family events and my kid’s soccer games and consolidate them into one reel somewhat highlighted.
I also found online video recovery to work well. I was able to pull videos from several different sites. Dailymotion, YouTube and Facebook Watch all worked without issue. After a few minutes of downloading the file, you then have the video on local storage to use as you wish.
WinX HD Deluxe is an outstanding tool for anyone looking for a video conversion toolkit. There are other free options like Handbrake, but I would say WInDX is much more robust.
Need to extend WinDX HD Deluxe even further? There is an additional software option that also allows you to convert DVD to digital files with WinX DVD Ripper Platinum. WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe offers a few premium options as the free trial is limited to files under five minutes.
The full version can be obtained for three months, one year or lifetime upgrades. These options will cost $25, $35, and $52 respectively.
