In response to the growing problem of the cost of living, the offers reduced rates for the modest cottages on its estate.

Colt Cottages, the cheapest option, start at $555 and can sleep up to five people.

The most expensive is Rhebreck Lodge, which can be rented for up to £1,620 per week and sleeps six.
Reservations currently approved are for a one-week stay between January 7 and March 31.

Balmoral Castle and Estate is located in the Scottish county of Aberdeenshire. The property has belonged to the royal family since 1852, when Prince Albert bought it for Queen Victoria after renting it out in 1848.
