Spider-Man: No Way Home Releasing On Disney Plus?

Unfortunately no, Spider-Man: No Path Home does not release on Disney Plus or any other streaming platform on the day of its theatrical release. So, you have no choice but to visit a theater if you want to watch the upcoming movie in 2021.

Of course, it’s disappointing that No way home will not be available to stream on December 17th. However, Sony will definitely release the film on a streaming platform next year.

Typically, Marvel Studios releases the new movie on Disney Plus a few months after its theatrical release. However, No way home is distributed by Sony Pictures, so the film is unlikely to hit Disney’s streaming service, similar to others Spider Man movies. Instead, the movie will most likely come Starz, Sony Pictures’ main pay TV partner. You can also expect No way home join Back home and Far from home to Netflix a few months after his arrival on Starz.

Does No Way Home have a digital release date?

As of this writing, Marvel Studios has not confirmed any broadcast or digital release dates for Spider-Man: No Path Home. However, we can make an educated guess based on the model with other Sony projects.

MCU Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings arrived on Disney’s streaming platform 45 days after its theatrical release. In the same way, Eternals is slated to hit streaming nearly two months after its theatrical release. However, Sony has taken a different approach with its projects.

from Sony Venom 2 was released in theaters on October 1, 2021, and became available on video-on-demand on November 23. Now, the film will be released on DVD on December 14, 2021 and would arrive on a streaming platform between March 2022 and July 2022.

So if No way home follows a similar pattern, you can expect it to release on VOD and DVD around February 2022. And it could arrive on services like Starz and Netflix in the second half of 2022, almost 6 to 9 months after its release in rooms.
