(hennemusic) Oasis is showing an unreleased video of a performance of their 1995 classic, “Wonderwall”, from the upcoming home release of their concert film, “Knebworth 1996”.
Images from the fourth single from “(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?” was captured on the opening night of a weekend of two events in the UK, with the full August 10 set featured on the new package DVD and Blu-ray when it arrives on November 19 after its worldwide screening in theaters this fall.
Directed by Jake Scott, the documentary captures the band in concert at two summer concerts that saw Oasis perform in front of 125,000 fans each evening.
“Oasis Knebworth 1996” formats include 2CD and triple LP on heavy vinyl with the digital version of the album with HD audio, while the DVD will be released as a triple disc comprising the motion picture documentary as well as the two nights of the live concert. in its entirety, with the Blu-ray in single disc format.
Limited edition formats include the 2CD with DVD of the film documentary, as well as a Super Deluxe box set including the triple LP, 2CD and triple DVD as well as replicas of the original concert memorabilia, available exclusively at the online store of the group. Watch the video here.
